How to Dress Professionally on Little Money!

You don’t have to be rich to look rich.  You just need to change your attitude a little. Here are a few proven tips on finding your professional wardrobe.

1.  THRIFT STORES OR CONSIGNMENT SHOPS.   If you have expensive taste but only have a few bucks in your wallet you can find some awesome deals at thrift stores.  You will be surprised by the expensive suits, dresses, pants and other items that some rich person wore once or twice then donated or put on consignment.  You might find a $500.00 suite for $10.00 or less!   If sizing is a problem, just keep shopping.   The deals and sizes are out there, just don’t give up.

2.  YOUR CLOSET.   Women typically have stuff already in their closet that they can pull together and add too.  Men have more trouble in this area and may have to start from scratch.  See how many nice slacks, skirts or blazers that you can build upon then go shopping to add to the ensemble.   A tie, necklace, or scarf will really dress up any outfit.  Head to the dollar store and the good ole thrift store for any and all accessories!  You can find some really nice accessories for cheap cheap cheap!
3.  SALES RACK.  If you are hard to fit and aren’t having any luck at the above mentioned places, head to the department stores when they have  huge clearance sales.  Clothes are marked up considerably.  When these stores have their sales, they are marked down considerably.  Also, most of these closes that aren’t sold end up in the thrift stores!  You just might find a designer suit with the tags still attached for $5.00!
